MINIMUM CLASSIFICATION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

1.       Three years of library work experience, or

2.       A combination of related work experience, undergraduate education, and/or post-high school library training totaling four years.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in an academic environment, in a workplace setting, and/or in the community.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and match title, author, publisher, publication date, edition statement, etc. in MARC21 records for bibliographic verification.
  • Cataloging experience with an online library system, such as Ex Libris’ Alma.
  • Experience using OCLC Connexion.
  • Ability to respond to a variety of queries requiring judgment and interpretation of policies and practice.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively w/others, groups, and/or team settings.

This position is eligible for hybrid (combination of on campus and remote) work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location. Details about a hybrid option can be discussed during the time of interview. The initial training period would be fully on campus. 

Starting salary minimum of Merit pay level 10 is $40,497.60.
