Position Qualifications:
 

Education Required

  • Requires the academic knowledge of a discipline plus the ability to translate, adapt and apply the knowledge that is generally associated with a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.      

Experience Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to fluctuate occasionally working nights and weekends to enroll admission patients and/or monitor study patients as sometimes required by the enrollment protocol of the study.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and procedures as set forth by the IRB and sponsoring agencies.  (Belmont Report, Helsinki ethical principles for medical research involving human subjects, good clinical practice, responsible conduct of biomedical research)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with surgical patients, phlebotomy and wound care.
  • Experience with Clinical Trials protocols
  • Experience with Surgical procedures.
  • Previous database experience and knowledge of RedCAp and Endnote.
  • Previous experience using EPIC for medical chart review and linking subject to a research study.
