Clinical Instructor-Radiation Sciences Radiologic Technology Program
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
Certifications Required
- Successful completion of a two-year or other program approved by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R) certification
- Unrestricted Iowa Radiologic Technology Permit to Practice license
Experience Requirements
- Two years minimum post-ARRT (R) certification
- Technical experience in general diagnostic radiology
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
- Clinical instructing experience in diagnostic radiology
- Secondary ARRT certification (CT, MRI, CI, VI, QM/PACS, M)
- Two years minimum technical experience in additional ARRT certification
- Experience with educational coursework, including educational theory, course development, instructional design, and assessment methods
- Classroom teaching experience
- Academic advising experience
