Education Requirement

  • Masters of Social Work degree from a CSWE accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications

  • One year post-MSW social work experience minimum.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in computer software applications. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks adhering to deadlines.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying policy and procedures.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet University of Iowa Fleet Services standards.

Desired Qualifications

  • Current license at the Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) level.
  • Knowledge of Council of Social Work Education’s (CSWE) standards.
  • Experience working in a “team based” environment.
  • Some knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations.
