Custodian II, University Housing & Dining
- Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
- One year of custodial or related experience.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Driving Record Review Standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions.
- Six months’ experience working as a laborer.
- Experience performing labor-intensive work in a residence hall, apartment complex, hotel, hospital, nursing home, or similar residential facility.
- Customer service experience.
- Interest in and the ability to learn basic computer and keyboarding skills; including the ability to access and draft email correspondence and the ability to manage electronic time accruals and personal absence requests. Previous experience highly desired.
- Experience working in a diverse work environment.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments.
- Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
