Field Benefits Specialist - Ryan White Program
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Travel is required. Must have a valid driver’s license plus the ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standard (UI Operations Manual Part V, Chapter 19.5)
- 6 months - 1 year of related experience with public and/or private insurance benefit coordination is required.
- Experience with benefit programs such as Medicare and Medicaid is highly desirable.
- Experience with the Affordable Care Act is highly desirable.
- Bi-lingual certification or 12 hours or more of specialized training in the field is desirable
