Finance and Research Administrator (75%)
Education or Equivalency Required
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience (typically 3-5 years) in budget management, financial analysis and reporting including the knowledge of, and ability to, apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.
- Expert/Leader experience (typically 3-5 years) in office administration, including experience managing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of individuals, teams, and/or units.
- Experience with leadership strategic thinking.
- Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Extensive proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies, procedures and UI systems such as GLDSS, TDRs, UIRIS and HRIS transaction system.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
- Some (typically 6-12 months) supervisory experience.
- Experience with project planning and project management.
