Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree (or international equivalent);
- Four (4) or more years successful intercollegiate or comparable gymnastics coaching experience;
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and adherence to regulatory expectations and proven commitment to the safety, welfare, personal development and academic success of student-athletes;
- Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, and hire qualified coaches and staff;
- Demonstrated ability to recruit elite gymnastics student-athletes within and external to the mid-west and the state of Iowa, who can be successful at the NCAA Division I level;
- Demonstrated skills in administration, organization, training and coaching necessary to conduct a successful intercollegiate gymnastics program;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as demonstrated through public speaking engagements, clinician experience, and/or use of effective and creative training/coaching techniques;
- Genuine passion for and experience with supporting the holistic development of student-athletes, recognizing the interconnectedness of mental health and overall well-being;
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective relationships with prospective student-athletes, current student-athletes, university administrators, staff, alumni, donors, community, and other internal and external constituents from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives;
Desired Qualifications:
- Successful coaching experience and track record of success at a Division I intercollegiate women’s gymnastics program.
