Identity Management Analyst – Community Connect Iowa
This position is eligible for remote work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
Position Summary:
The CCI Foundations Identity Management Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive IT support within the organization, focusing on data analysis, implementation support, ongoing user account maintenance, liaising between various stakeholders, maintaining training, and on-call support. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Position Responsibilities:
Data Analysis
- Ad hoc Analysis and Reporting: Provide detailed and timely analysis and reporting of Epic build data to support decision-making, implementation, and system optimization.
Implementation Support
- Initial Account Analysis: Export, analyze, modify data from existing systems to facilitate the creation of user accounts and collaborate with programmers to ensure all necessary accounts are created without duplication.
- Initial Account Creation: Collect data from sites to facilitate the creation of user accounts and collaborate with programmers to ensure all necessary accounts are created without duplication.
Ongoing Support
- User account maintenance: Maintain user accounts, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
Liaising
- Cross org collaboration: Coordinate and manage communication and projects between internal divisions and external partner organizations to ensure alignment and achieve common goals.
Training
- Epic Certifications: Obtain and maintain any necessary Epic certifications to stay current with system updates and best practices, that are relevant to the role.
On-Call Support
- Provide rotating night and weekend on-call support for the Identity and Access Management team.
General
- Understand and adhere to Change Management policies and procedures, and IT Security policies and procedures.

Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of related experience working with complex, integrated IT systems and applications.
- Experience working with and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical staff.
- Experience working with application owners and/or vendors to define system requirements, integration requirements and understand business needs.
- Experience in and ability to use standard business computer software programs.
- Demonstrated familiarity with MS Excel.
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends (scheduled and unscheduled).
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency working with MS Excel
- Experience with user provisioning in Active Directory and Epic
- Experience working in the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with healthcare job classifications and/or roles
- Experience working with confidentiality requirements as set by HIPAA, FERPA, federal, state, and local regulations
- Knowledge and/or experience with any of the following: identity management account and entitlement lifecycle; federated identity management; privilege accumulation; role-based access control (RBAC); authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA)
- Epic certification related but not limited to the following: Security and / or Core Analyst.
