IT Support Consultant - AV
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or and audio/video related field; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Experience Requirements
- Experience, typically -1-3 years, in application and/or technology support
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong customer service focus.
- Familiarity with web-based video conferencing applications and tools
- Understanding of AV installation, equipment setup and operation
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical AV issues.
- Physical ability to occasionally move and transport equipment up to 50lbs.
- Experience planning, organizing, and executing projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical staff.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge troubleshooting and resolving issues with AV control systems.
- Experience with wired, wireless networking and security.
- Certifications: Infocomm CTS, Infocomm CTS-I or other industry certifications
- Experience with Visio, AutoCad, Blue Beam or similar design software applications.
- Experience working in a Service Call Center with an electronic ticketing system.
- Knowledge of Construction Project management; understanding of construction drawings, documentation, and change order processes, specifically relating to Division 27.
- Experience in a healthcare or health industry environment.
- Experience with Crestron, QSC, Extron, or similar AV equipment.
