Manager of Admissions and Enrollment Services

Required Education/Experience    

• Master’s degree with minimum of three years’ experience in admission/recruiting/student services
• Or Bachelor’s degree with minimum of five years’ experience in admission/recruiting/student services

Required Qualifications    

• Ability to travel domestically.
• A valid driver’s license, plus the ability to meet and maintain compliance with the University Driving Policy.

    Demonstrates extensive knowledge and ability to: 

• effectively communicate verbally and in writing and interact with a diverse set of constituencies; including the ability to develop and deliver formal and informal presentations to audiences of all kinds;
• establish and build strong working relationships with prospective students, colleagues, and vendors;
• provide a customer first orientation, by demonstrating a positive attitude, an ability to collaborate and to be proactive in seeking quick resolution to problems;
• form and manage effective teams by cooperating on tasks, assisting others when needed, and communicating openly;
• analyze situations fully and accurately and reach productive decisions utilizing a variety of decision-making approaches including consultative, command, and/or consensus; 
• work effectively under pressure and in certain cases with a high degree of ambiguity; and
• function in a highly computerized environment. 

Demonstrates a working knowledge and ability to achieve tuition and admissions targets, including effective use of financial aid tools.  

Desirable Qualifications    

• Prior experience with advising students in higher education, preferably with pre-professional and/or professional programs.  
• Knowledge of and/or experience with student admissions systems including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and/or database tools.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize social media, such as: Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and other current and emerging methods, for communicating with prospective and current students.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of University policy and procedures.
