Neuroimaging Data Analyst - Psychological and Brain Sciences
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in cognitive science, neuroscience, computer science, psychology, engineering, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Level of proficiency in Python necessary to accomplish scientific computing tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to use shared code repositories with version control.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly document code.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in cognitive psychology, cognitive science, neuroimaging, human cognitive neuroscience, or bioinformatics, such as through prior coursework, relevant research experience, work experience, in related fields, and/or interest in pursuing advanced research or graduate training in psychology, neuroimaging, computational sciences, or bioengineering.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in cognitive science, neuroscience, computer science, psychology, or engineering
- At least one year of relevant research experience, preferably in cognitive psychology, neuroimaging, neuroscience, or other behavioral/quantitative disciplines.
- Experience with neuroimaging data analyses, including MRI and/or EEG.
- Experience with high-performance computational cluster.
- Proficiency with Unix (can be learned on the job if candidate does not possess this skill).
- Experience in teaching computer programming.
