Payroll and Benefits Associate
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (A student currently near the completion of their HR-related degree program would be a viable candidate for the role).
- Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and to ensure a high level of accuracy in work produced.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods.
Desirable Qualifications
- Working knowledge of payroll and benefit programs and systems in university setting (e.g. Oracle PeopleSoft, student database, etc.)
- Previous experience with transaction processing.
- Some knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting human resources.
- Experience generating data reports.
