Product Manager, University of Iowa Mobile App
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Typically, 5 years of experience working with constituents from multiple departments within an organization on data and information governance, preferably in higher education.
- Experience advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Experience working with Agile and project management methodologies.
- Experience with developing marketing and communications strategies for new and existing IT products and services.
- Extensive service management experience.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience with developing application roadmaps.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Related mobile work experience designing, building in, and operating a mobile platform in higher education, including platforms such as Modo or Pathify.
- Experience working on or with a mobile governance or advisory group in a Research I (R1) university.
- Experience working with developers and integrators on complex technology.
- Experience working in and deploying apps in the Apple and Google Play stores.
- Experience with web and graphic design and knowledge of web services, such as JSon and REST APIs.
- Experience with working in an environment with a continuous and fast-paced release cycle.
- Experience documenting processes and procedures, as well as helping with articles and other documentation.
