Safety and Security Manager 100% - Downtown Campus
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 3 years of relative leadership experience.
· A working understanding of Safety Standards
· 1-3 years of experience in public speaking and/or training development and delivery
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Possession of appropriate driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.
Desired Qualifications
· Master’s degree in a related field
· Reasonable experience (1-3 years) in process improvement
· Experience in workplace safety/security
· A safety/security professional certification
· Experienced in TJC and OSHA surveys
· Law enforcement experience
· Knowledge in access control, video surveillance, operations centers, incident management
· International Association for Healthcare security and Safety Supervisor certification
· Possession of any National Incident Management System (NIMS) certificates, such as IS-100, IS-200, IS-700a, or IS-800. B.
