Education Requirement  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience 

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in the development and support of web applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance business processes 
  • Extensive experience with the following programming and database languages – PHP, JavaScript, SQL, Python, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap 
  • Ability to manage complex information with attention to detail and high level of accuracy 
  • Working experience with GitHub/GitLab, VMWare, MySQL Workbench, and command line 
  • Working experience utilizing third-party APIs or web services to access data as XML or JSON and incorporate into applications 
  • Basic knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1) 
  • Extensive experience communicating technical information effectively to technical and non-technical staff at the verbal, written, and presentation levels 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Working experience administering third party applications; including user management, security, upgrades, and database moves.  
  • Working experience with educational technology applications 
  • Working experience with web hosting, certificates, DNS, and domain management
