Application Developer
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience in the development and support of web applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance business processes.
- Extensive experience with the following programming and database languages – R, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, Python, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Ability to manage complex information with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Working experience with GitHub/GitLab, VMWare, MySQL Workbench, and command line.
- Working experience utilizing third-party APIs or web services to access data as XML or JSON and incorporate into applications.
- Extensive experience communicating technical information effectively to technical and non-technical staff at the verbal, written, and presentation levels.
Desired Qualifications
- Working experience administering third-party applications; including user management, security, upgrades, and database moves.
- Experience developing educational-based applications or web-based tools.
