Required Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience in business processes and technical services.
  • Direct work-related experience (typically 6 months to 1 year) in business analytics, data engineering, and/or report development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to communicate effectively with technical/non-technical staff.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server and Oracle DBMS.
  • Experience with reporting tools, such as SQL Server Reporting Services, and data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes, such as SSIS.
  • Capability to process and cleanse data.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and processes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with data and reporting solutions in a higher educational setting.
  • Experience with business and financial applications.
  • Beyond 1 year’s direct work-related experiences in business analytics, data engineering, and/or report development.
  • Experience in conducting presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Data Governance, and Data Security, Privacy, and Ethics.
  • Industry certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Azure Data Scientist Associate and Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
