Business Intelligence Analyst, Office of the Registrar
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience or expertise.
- Experience (minimum of 1 year) working in a data-focused role or other similar related experience.
Competencies Required:
- Demonstrates a basic proficiency level in the following competencies:
- use of SQL writing
- knowledge of and experience with relational databases
- ability to use data gathering/analysis tools, techniques, and processes in order to successful meet unit goals and/or project needs
- use of SQL writing
- Demonstrates a working proficiency level in the following competencies:
- ability to understand and apply effective written and verbal communications, concepts, tools and techniques.
- ability to understand and apply effective written and verbal communications, concepts, tools and techniques.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Some experience (typically 6 months - 1 year) working in a post-secondary academic setting.
- Demonstrates a working proficiency level in:
- managing multiple tasks, resource, and project management, including a high level of autonomy, decision-making, and time organization.
- use of MAUI or other student records/information systems (PeopleSoft, Banner, etc.)
- ability to build relationships that support a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
- knowledge of FERPA and other university and federal regulatory rules, policies, and laws
- managing multiple tasks, resource, and project management, including a high level of autonomy, decision-making, and time organization.

Additional Details:
Work Modality: This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
Compensation: Starting salary minimum $46,045 with Competitive Benefits
