Business Intelligence Architect
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of education and experience
Required Qualifications
- Typically, 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data architecture, or enterprise analytics roles
- Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI (desktop, service, semantic models, and DAX)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data, including clinical, financial, and operational domains
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize for performance.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX, Power Query (M), and building and tuning semantic models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in managing or migrating large-scale BI ecosystems from Tableau or legacy reporting tools
- Experience with Power BI DevOps practices, including the use of deployment pipelines, workspace lifecycle management, and version control to support scalable and maintainable BI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI optimization tools such as DAX Studio and Measure Killer, with the ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in complex semantic models.
- Experience leveraging Power BI REST APIs, PowerShell, and Python to automate administrative tasks, streamline deployments, and enhance data workflows within the Power BI ecosystem.
