Director of Network Services

Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Required Qualifications:

·     Management experience (typically 7+ years) successfully managing technical staff.

·     Knowledge of network technologies and network service delivery in an enterprise environment.

·     Experience successfully managing complex projects and initiatives with cross-functional teams, with competing deadlines.

·     Ability to establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships with colleagues, faculty, staff and students, vendors, the public, regulatory/governmental agencies, etc., and effectively communicate with these stakeholders.

·     Demonstrated experience leading and developing people at various levels to strengthen and advance the success of both individuals and teams.

·     Demonstrated dedication to delivering high-quality services as well as strong customer service.

·     Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with technical and non-technical staff.

·     Experience presenting project requests/initiatives with supporting data and key metrics.

·     Professional experience working effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.

Desired Qualifications:

·     Demonstrated technical and architectural knowledge and experience for selecting, implementing, and operating complex IT solutions.

·     Experience leading process improvement and automation efforts.

·     Experience developing and managing budgets.

·     Experience working with regulatory regimes such as FISMA, HIPAA, and ITAR

·     Experience managing vendor relationships.
