Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • 6 months or more of related customer service experience in a health care setting
  • Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to maintain professionalism while handling difficult situations with callers or customers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and quickly change focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex situations with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in computer software applications (Excel, MS Word, OneNote)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and suggestions to improve workflows.
  • Self-motivated with initiative to seek out additional responsibilities, tasks and projects.
  • Experience with Radiology PACS system
  • EPIC Experience
  • Knowledge of University of Iowa Policies and Procedures
