IT Support Consultant – Community Connect Iowa
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
- Experience, typically 1-3 years, supporting workstations running Windows 10 and MS Office 2016/365.
- Experience leading IT related projects.
- Professional experience working with desktop hardware and software in a managed workstation environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical customers.
- Experience working in an IT Service Center environment.
- Ability to move and install clinical systems device/computer/printer.
- A valid driver’s license and must meet the University of Iowa Fleet Services Program rules and regulations.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft OneNote
- Experience with Electronic Health Records and interfaced systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working with various powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Experience with wireless networking and security.
- Experience working in Health Care or Health Industry Environment.
- Experience with ITSM techniques, ITIL frameworks and/or LEAN principles.
- Excellent organizational skills
