IT Support Consultant
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and related technical experience in audiovisual or instructional support may also serve to meet these minimum requirements.
- Experience, one year providing technology support in an information technology/educational environment.
- Experience installing and supporting AV devices.
- Experience with Crestron, Extron, or similar AV equipment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; the ability to explain computing concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to occasionally move and transport equipment up to 50lbs.
- Proven record of problem solving skills.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/O365.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with AV control programs and control interfaces.
- Working experience supporting technology in a higher educational setting.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Certifications: Infocomm CTS, Infocomm CTS-I or other industry certifications.
- Knowledge of Construction Project management; understanding of construction drawings, documentation, and change order processes, specifically relating to Division 27.
- Working experience evaluating new and emerging technologies and their potential applications specific to teaching and learning.
- Experience working in a Service Call Center with an electronic ticketing system.
