Education Required

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Required Qualifications

  •        Typically, 5 years of experience working directly with relational database systems using SQL and SQL procedural languages. Required skills include a thorough understanding of relational database design fundamentals and the ability to write and interpret highly complex SQL DML and DDL statements.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  •        Ability to interpret, modify and create complex custom database stored procedures and functions.
  •        Experience with interpreting query execution plans to identify opportunities for improved performance in a very high-volume database environment.
  •        Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  •        Proficiency in Power BI
  •        Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  •        Cloud computing in Microsoft Azure including Power BI solution architecture, data lake storage techniques and strategies and ETL using Synapse/Data Factory.
  •        Experience implementing source/version control in SSIS.
  •        Practical experience working with the Epic EHR and their Clarity and Caboodle analytic platforms.
