Network Engineer - Information Security and Policy Office
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience, typically 2-4 years, supporting and monitoring enterprise network systems, and/or enterprise-level servers and storage.
- Knowledge of key networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, IP, Ethernet, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation
- Ability to move and install network communications equipment
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DNS and DHCP and IP address management services.
- Experience configuring, supporting and monitoring network switches.
- Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and Cisco networking devices.
- Experience in a call center environment and tier-1 troubleshooting capability.
- Experience working with regular expressions and scripting.
