Research Assistant - Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a natural or health science field or discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior biomedical research experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in basic molecular biology techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in sterile cell culture techniques.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Experience caring for and handling mice.
- Experience using light and confocal microscopy.
- Experience performing flow cytometry on suspension cells.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with data entry and managing research databases according to best practice.
