Senior Application Developer - Telemedicine
Position
Qualifications:
Education
Required
Bachelor’s in a related field or an equivalent combination
of education and related application development/support experience.
Required Qualifications
·
Experience
in the development and/or support of applications used by non-technical
customers to support and enhance business processes, typically 5-7 years for
Senior Developer in leadership roles including experience with programming
tools, a comprehensive understanding of database technologies
·
Experience
contributing to the support, configuration and development of at least one
Epic-specific healthcare enterprise application
·
Experience
working with application owners and/or vendors to analyze system and
integration requirements
·
Demonstrated
ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer service utilizing
established processes and procedures
·
Demonstrated
knowledge of and experience with basic project management
·
A
valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety requirements.
·
Ability
to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and
non-technical staff
·
Demonstrated
job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic
environment
Desirable Qualifications:
·
Experience
supporting an EHR in an ambulatory or hospital setting
·
Demonstrated
knowledge of and experience with any of the following workflows: scheduling,
referrals, ambulatory or inpatient clinical documentation, patient EHR portals,
and telemedicine
·
Epic
certification(s) related but not limited to the following: EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient,
EpicCare Procedure Orders, Epic MyChart, Epic Prelude, Cadence, Referrals
·
Technical
project lead experience implementing and managing multiple small to large-scale
projects
·
Experience
collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation
projects
·
Proven
ability to write application test scripts
·
Experience
implementing videoconferencing solutions for business/ healthcare.
