Senior Database Architect - ICTS Biomedical Informatics
Position
Qualifications:
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant application development experience.
Experience Requirements
- Expert/leader (10+ years) of related professional experience working with cross-domain, cross-functional diverse databases and systems with demonstrated experience in leading multiple concurrent projects and performing in a variety of different roles in the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Expert/leader in the design and implementation of databases, data warehouse/mart implementations and data architecture (7+ years).
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence Reporting. (1 year experience).
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective strategies for working with diverse faculty, staff and students.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Expert/leader in developing and designing data strategies for data extraction, integration and implementation of systems, data warehouse and data marts.
- Extensive experience in the ability to lead, participate and moderate discussions with stakeholders for decision-making.
- Experience with healthcare systems like Epic, GE-IDX, Cerner is desirable.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or related field is desirable.
