Education Requirement: 
A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may also serve to meet these minimum requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technology experience (typically 10+ years) including education or experience in management and leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of collegiate and administrative IT environments.
  • Must have excellent analytical and communication skills, a strong customer service orientation.
  • Must have an enthusiasm for the application of new technologies across a broad range of disciplines.
  • Demonstrates track record of success leading change, including role modeling change readiness; managing resistance; building resiliency and successfully guiding others through the structural, cultural and process aspects of organizational change.
  • Ability to establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships with colleagues, faculty, staff and students, vendors, the public, regulatory/governmental agencies, etc.
  • Demonstrates technical and architectural knowledge and experience for selecting, implementing, and operating complex information technology solutions.
  • Demonstrates ability to work effectively with a broad range of constituencies in diverse technical and non-technical environments.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Demonstrates job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment is required.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing and managing high-complexity campus-scale IT projects and services.
  • In-depth experience in technology to support research activities, teaching and learning, and collegiate administration in a research university setting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in information technology or related field.
  • Experience implementing and managing campus-scale IT projects and services.
  • Proven track record of developing unique and innovative solutions for faculty research and teaching efforts.
  • In-depth experience in a specific research discipline.
