Senior IT Director, Communications and Collaboration Applications
Position Qualifications:
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and related healthcare technology experience.
Experience Requirements
Experience (typically 10+ years) leading and guiding the mission-critical healthcare IT projects involving multi-disciplinary teams in a large environment with considerable (3-5 years) administrative and management experience.
Experience using, implementing and supporting enterprise communications and collaborations systems including, but not limited to Skype, Nurse Call, Voalte, RTLS.
Experience with inpatient and ambulatory clinical care workflows.
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a portfolio of projects with organizational effectiveness, within timelines and budgets.
Experience leading a customer service oriented team and developing initiatives to drive collaborative and service orientation skills throughout organization.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audience
Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with change management, continuous improvement initiatives, ITIL, LEAN and project management
Experience working with diverse communities, internal and external to the organization, to define and deliver unified goals
Demonstrated ability to lead technical team to advance organizational objectives
Experience with analysis, planning, estimating, budgeting and scheduling of high-risk, high-impact IT projects.
Advanced proficiency with Project Management concepts and practices
Experience in succession planning and people development.
