Talent Acquisition Specialist
Education or Equivalency Required
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience (typically 1-3 years) in a recruiting/talent-acquisition role, involving full-cycle recruitment activities.
- Typically, 1-year experience focused on sourcing, candidate development or contract recruiting in professional services, higher education, corporate or a recruiting agency environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicant tracking solutions (ATS/CMS tools), online sourcing and research tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and task oriented.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including polished phone, oral presentation, email and social media etiquette.
- Demonstrated experience with or commitment to diversity in the work or academic environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action policies.
- Previous experience sourcing and recruiting underrepresented candidates.
